Nursery care
is available each Sunday during the 9:00 service and the 11:20 service
and during Sunday School. We are blessed to have a mother and daughter
who share the ministry of caring for the youngest members of our
church. They provide a loving and nurturing atmosphere where children
feel a sense of belonging.
The nursery

Godly Play is an approach to Christian formation that enables children
to experience the presence of a loving God and discover how to speak
the language of their Biblical faith. Children learn key texts from
Scripture in an imaginative creative and meaningful way. Godly Play
uses careful telling of scrupture stories and engaging story figures
and activities to help children seek and find answers to their faith
questions.

This program
blends action and contemplation in teaching young people faithful

YOUTH COMMUNITY (EYC)
(All youth from eighth through twelfth grades)
This is an
opportunity for youth to gather in a fun, safe, Christ-centered
environment and to be in community with one another outside of Sunday
morning classes. This group will meet the first Sunday of the month
from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm in the parish hall.

Join Janet Stephes and Sara Tartala in a Sunday morning Bible study
and discussion based on the lectionary readings for that day. Meets
in the Parlor, Sundays 10:15 to 11:05.
ADULT
FORUM 101'S
The Adult Forum
meets from 10:15 to 11:05 every Sunday in the Parish Hall. First
Sundays are reserved for Coffee Hour fellowship. Other Sundays will
feature short courses on various topics, changing from month to
month, taught by a variety of speakers from inside and outside the
parish. You may attend classes without registereing, and without
having to come to previous classes.

BIBLE
WORKBENCH
A school for
disciples using the Bible Workbench curriculum, which one grateful
user says is "a consistent weeklky source of spiritual nourishment
- never Pablulm, but real, substantial nourishment. In the mix of
scruption, quesitons, poetry, and parallel reading, the weekly lectionary
comes alive. Beginning September 17th.
Wednesday

MYSTIC
VISION
Mystic Vision
becan about three years ago so women can get to know each other
and share their spiritual journeys. Elsa Bakkum facilitates sessions.
This fall beings with "Transformations" on Tuesday, Spetember
9, at 10:00 am. We suggest a $10 donation for each session. Mystic
Vision meets in Riverview unless otherwise noted. Contact Jean Kirkham

EDUCATION
FOR MINISTRY
An intensive
four-year curriculum designed at the University of the South School
of Theology. The group meets on Tuesdays evenings at Grace. There
is a fee, but scholarships are available. Contact Sandy Swift at
